Kevin M. Burns, M.D.
He treats conditions throughout the body with a specific expertise in cancer therapies including, tumor embolization and ablation, as well as reducing pain caused by bone tumors.
His other interests include: Women’s health (uterine fibroid embolization and pelvic congestion syndrome), men’s health (prostate artery embolization for the treatment of BPH), removal of blood clots and venous reconstruction, and advanced IVC filter retrieval.
Dr. Burns obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Brown University. He attended medical school at New York University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Burns then attended the MD Anderson Cancer Center for specialty training in interventional radiology and oncology.
As a native of Laguna Niguel, Dr. Burns is excited to offer his expertise in minimally invasive therapies to patients in Southern Orange County.
