Todd Lempert, M.D.

Dr. Lempert is the president of Coast Radiology Imaging and Intervention, Inc. He is a board-certified interventional radiologist who specializes in diagnostic neuroradiology (adult and pediatric), interventional neuroradiology, and interventional radiology at Mission Hospital. With more than 30 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Lempert has immensely impacted the lives of his patients by diagnosing and treating their injuries and diseases using medical imaging procedures. As well as practicing medicine, Dr. Lempert has also performed extensive research, published articles, book chapters, books, and is the inventor of closure device for percutaneous occlusion of puncture sites and tracts. He is affiliated with Mission Hospital, CHOC Children’s at Mission Hospital, and Mission Hospital Laguna Beach.

Kevin M. Burns, M.D.

Dr. Burns is a board-certified interventional radiologist who specializes in minimally invasive image-guided procedures at Mission Hospital and the Leonard Cancer Institute.

He treats conditions throughout the body with a specific expertise in cancer therapies including, tumor embolization and ablation, as well as reducing pain caused by bone tumors.

His other interests include: Women’s health (uterine fibroid embolization and pelvic congestion syndrome), men’s health (prostate artery embolization for the treatment of BPH), removal of blood clots and venous reconstruction, and advanced IVC filter retrieval.

Dr. Burns obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Brown University. He attended medical school at New York University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Burns then attended the MD Anderson Cancer Center for specialty training in interventional radiology and oncology.

As a native of Laguna Niguel, Dr. Burns is excited to offer his expertise in minimally invasive therapies to patients in Southern Orange County.
